What is IDUB?

The Initiative of Excellence — Research University (IDUB) program designates Poland's top 10 universities for priority federal funding, enhanced research infrastructure, and accelerated internationalization.

IDUB institutions receive 10% additional funding above the standard allocation, enabling lower tuition, more English programs, and better PhD stipends.

Recognition & Accreditation

Degrees recognized across the EU

Polish degrees are Bologna Process-compliant and automatically recognized in all 27 EU member states plus the UK, Norway, and Switzerland.

PKA Accreditation

The Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) evaluates every program. Only PKA-accredited programs can issue state-recognized diplomas.

Bologna Framework

Three-cycle system (Bachelor / Master / PhD) fully aligned with the European Higher Education Area. ECTS credit system used universally.

SYRENA Nostrification

Foreign diplomas must be recognized through the SYRENA digital system before enrollment. Processing takes 30–60 days.
