How to Apply

Six steps to enrollment

The complete process for international students applying to Polish universities for October 2026 intake.

Step 1

Choose your program

  • Browse study.gov.pl for English-taught degrees
  • Confirm PKA accreditation of your chosen program
  • Check B2 English certificate requirement (IELTS 6.0+ / TOEFL 80+)
  • Note application portal — most use IRK (Internetowa Rejestracja Kandydatów)

Get your diploma recognized

  • Submit foreign diploma to SYRENA digital system
  • Wait 30–60 days for nostrification certificate
  • Pay fee: PLN 100 (~$25) per document
  • Conditional admission is no longer accepted since July 2025

Apply for scholarships

  • NAWA Banach Programme — deadline May 8, 2026

Common Misconceptions

Myths about studying in Poland

"You need to speak Polish"

Over 900 programs are taught entirely in English. Polish is useful but never required for English-track students.

"Polish degrees are not recognized abroad"
